“Imaginary obstacles are insurmountable.
Real ones aren’t.” Barbara Sher

I presently share my life with one horse, two goats, the sweetest dog ever and my youngest daughter (my daughter is sweet, too). I am blessed to live in a beautiful old farm house surrounded by many flower and vegetable gardens where I indulge my great love of gardening and nourish my soul at the same time. This is my particular version of heaven on earth.

As far back as I can remember I have always been a seeker of truth and wisdom and so my soul wisely steered me towards an intensive course of study in the “School of Hard Knocks”. Some of the highlights: During my late teens and early twenties an obsession with perfection resulted in a physically devastating, emotionally catastrophic, and soul destroying eating disorder. This nicely set me up for a number of destructive, co-dependent relationships with alcoholism as the star attraction. No one can tell me that the law of attraction doesn’t work! It does; perfectly; every time! Now, some thirty years later, I can say that I wouldn’t change a thing. Mind you I’m not recommending this for everyone.

Deep down, I always knew that I was capable of more than I was bringing to the world. What I didn’t know was that the chaos in my life was entirely self created. Ultimately, my soul had its way and I began a great and incredible journey inward to find the truth of who I was and the healing that, that would ultimately bring.

Meditation and the study of Eastern, spiritual traditions have been and continue to be an indispensable part of that journey. Add to the mix, a voracious appetite for traditional and modern popular psychology which led to a decision to study and become certified in Choice Theory / Reality Therapy through the William Glasser Institute. But it was the work of Dr. Martha Beck that really challenged my beliefs about what is possible in terms of personal transformation. Her work is mind blowing and revolutionary. She has taken the self-help movement and the Coaching Profession to an entirely new level; hence, my decision to become a personally trained Certified Martha Beck Life Coach and share her tools, as well as what I have learned over the years, with others.

It has been an extraordinary journey. A journey towards love (love of self and love for others) inner peace; abundance and joy; Yes! More joy than you can possibly imagine!
